DATE: Victorian, c.1890

Cute Victorian cluster ring with a halo of old Euro diamonds surrounding a natural blue sapphire in the centre. It's crafted in 18 karat gold with silver settings, and dates from the 1890s - a time when jewellery was becoming more accessible, and less bulky/ostentatious (mostly). Hand made in England, each diamond held in place by a statement claw around the outside of the head.
