DATE: Victorian, c.1867

A charming antique five stone ring, set with a row of almandine garnet and chrysoprase. The gold-work is highly ornate, with scrolled gallery and tiny gold pommels between the stones. The outer band features foliate engraving, an on the inner band, the initials E.G. It dates from the Victorian period, with English hallmarks for 15k gold, Birmingham 1867.
